Zaira Ambu Project Manager of the Biomass and Cultural Landscape Development department of the IfaS, has participated as speaker to the “3. The conference was held online on the 21. – 22. September 2020 and this year had a special focus on “The contribution of Bioeconomy to the Green Deal” and how innovative products, processes, principles, and regional circles can contribute to the mitigation of climate change, reducing pollution, supporting resource efficiency, and other Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

With the MUNTER poster presentation, IfaS provided a concrete example of how it is possible to combine food productions, rural economic development, biodiversity protection, and climate change adaptation through the implementation of multi-use land systems. Moreover, it demonstrates as IfaS at the local level is already developing effective approaches to reach a healthier and more sustainable EU food system in line with the European Green Deal.
