As part of the project ‘Building Sustainable Futures: Strategic Partnership Hochschule Trier and GJU’ funded by the Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienst (DAAD), a project meeting was recently held at the German Jordanian University (GJU) in Amman and Madaba. Representatives of the Environmental Campus Birkenfeld of Trier University of Applied Sciences, including Prof Dr Helling (Dean of the Environmental Campus Birkenfeld and Vice Director of IfaS), and the GJU worked together on the development of innovative Master’s modules in the field of sustainability. These modules are to be specifically tailored to the needs of the GJU and its students.

In addition to curriculum development, we are also preparing for an upcoming research project on carbon emissions, which will take place in July and August.

We’re proud of the progress made so far and thankful for the continued collaboration between Environmental Campus Birkenfeld  and German Jordanian University.
